Frankfurt, 9. Februar 2024 – The German Ogilvy Group is launching its new campaign for Schwäbisch Hall on February 12. With an always-on communication for Germany’s largest building society and one of the leading mortgage lenders, the creative company shows what is possible for modernizers, building society savers and people interested in real estate. In addition to an overarching brand film, various audience spots refer to the current market situation and people’s desire to realize their dream home by modernizing, buying or building. The multimedia campaign runs throughout the year on TV, social media and display ads and is used at various touchpoints in the B2B sector.
The entire real estate market has changed significantly in recent years. Although purchase costs have fallen somewhat, they have not been able to compensate for the rise in interest and construction/modernization costs. Nevertheless, owning a home is still a lifelong dream for many, and all those who take this step not only put their heart and a lot of money into it, but also have a lot of stamina.
“This is exactly where our communication comes in,” explains Simon Oppmann, Creative Director at Ogilvy. The campaign is aimed at those who dare to take this special step now, as well as anyone who is still hesitating. “It speaks honestly and bluntly about what it’s all about. It’s about a big project, a lot of money and passion for the most important place in the world,” Oppmann continues.
The campaign shows couples, families or singles who are building, buying or modernizing, who arrive at their most important place in the world with plenty of drive, passion and a hands-on mentality – and with the right partner at their side.
No matter what the way to your dream home looks like: Schwäbisch Hall is aware that it takes strength and a lot of courage to realize your dream. The campaign’s message is fitting: “Let’s get started. We’ll show you what’s possible. With advice from the home experts.” It is intended to strengthen the brand, and to further arouse sympathy with pension savers, modernizers and first-time buyers.
Sabrina Sturm from the B2C Content & Creation team at Schwäbisch Hall says: “We understand people, their concerns and challenges and want to encourage and motivate them with our campaign to get started – to realize their own dream home.”
Lea Teinert, also from the B2C Content & Creation team at Schwäbisch Hall, adds: “We don’t make empty promises or clichés such as ‘We’ll do it’ or ‘Anything is possible with us.’ But we also don’t join in the negative trend and say what is not possible. Instead, we say confidently and honestly ‘We’ll show you what’s possible’.”
The communication can be seen until around the end of 2024 in 20- and 10-second TV commercials, in online moving images on social media and YouTube, among others, and in social media ads.
