Frankfurt, 26 March 2024 – In the new spring campaign for SunExpress, the Ogilvy Germany group is using an eye-catching design to raise awareness of the Antalya and Frankfurt-based airline’s brand and its new attitude. The creative company’s first campaign for the airline – after winning the pitch at the beginning of the year – will be launched on May 26. It will be played out in the three core markets of SunExpress: the DACH region, the UK and Turkey.
SunExpress, a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, offers destinations in the most beautiful vacation regions of Turkey, but also in many other countries. In this performance-oriented airline market with strong competitors, a brand must have a high level of visibility in order to increase its brand awareness beyond booking figures. To meet this challenge, Ogilvy has further developed SunExpress’s image and given it new radiance.
“The starting point is the new attitude of our brand, ‘To bring sunshine to people’s lives’,” explains Benedikt Sieweke, Chief Marketing Officer of SunExpress. “It will be expressed directly through a new look and feel in all advertising materials and across all markets.”
Siyamak Jung, Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy in Frankfurt, adds: “With its very unique look and direct, sunny tone, the campaign generates the stopper and awareness effects that the brand needs for its strongly performance-driven business.”
The campaign is aimed at everyone in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, in the UK and Turkey who is planning and booking their summer vacation this spring. The various moving images and stills can be seen on TV, CTV, social media and out-of-home media.
