Berlin, 22. May 2024 – The new original series “Viktor Bringt’s” from the streaming service Prime Video focuses on Viktor Kudinski, a genuine Berliner, and his very different son Mika. Together, as service technicians, they help their quirky clientele with technical problems of all kinds. In order to make the business of “Viktor Bringt’s” known throughout Germany, Prime Video has launched an extraordinary advertising campaign in collaboration with Ogilvy – created and designed by the main characters themselves!
Awareness for the new series, starring Moritz Bleibtreu and Enzo Brumm, is created with lovingly improvised advertising assets. The two protagonists advertise their “top-notch” service on posters, in TV commercials and pre-rolls. Always a little awkward, but with all the more enthusiasm. This not only brings the two of them many new customers – but hopefully also a lot of Prime Video viewers for the series launch of “Viktor Bringt’s” on 30. May.
“With a deliberate pinch of imperfection and amateur charm, we want this DIY campaign to stand out pleasantly from the smoothly ironed advertising environment,” says Helge Hoffmann, Creative Director at Ogilvy.
Comedy fans in general are certainly attracted to Viktor and Mika’s charm. However, Ogilvy’s unconventional advertising campaign is particularly appealing to fans of actor Moritz Bleibtreu and the popular series “The Discounters,” which can also be seen on Prime Video.
The “Viktor Bringt’s” creations can be seen on out-of-home posters, on the most important social media platforms TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and YouTube as well as in various online video formats.
