Frankfurt, 3. June 2024 – Ogilvy Group Germany and R+V Versicherung, one of Germany’s largest insurance companies, have officially announced their partnership for the further development of the insurer’s brand communication. The collaboration began in October last year, now the first joint project is being implemented. It is one of R+V Versicherung’s biggest brand campaigns in recent years, has been on display since 31. May and will be rolled out throughout the year.
With “Deutschland macht den Vorsorge-Check,” the Wiesbaden-based company wants to position itself as THE expert for old-age provision, income protection and healthcare in Germany in the long term and educate all Germans about the importance of this topic.
Ogilvy won over the insurance company last year in a multi-stage pitch with strong competitors. The creative agency’s main task is to further develop the brand communication. “We are very happy to have gained an experienced and successful agency partner for our company in Ogilvy. During the competition phases, we were able to convince ourselves of the team’s professional expertise and great creation. This was confirmed in the conception and implementation phase of the new campaign over the last few months,” explains Michael Hein Beuting, Team Head Brand & Media. “We looked for and found a customised setup that is precisely tailored to our challenges and needs,” adds Norman Böhm, Head of Brand, Product and Customer Management. “With Ogilvy, we want to build and live a new and modern cooperation model that is characterised by strong partnership, entrepreneurship and implementation strength.”
The responsible Client Service Director Sebastian Hainbach from Ogilvy is also pleased with R+V’s decision: “We are delighted to be able to further develop the communications activities of one of Germany’s largest insurance companies.”
The communication mix with different motifs is impressive overall: In addition to the main medium of TV with 60”, 30” and 23” spot formats, print, digital (including moving image), out-of-home, social media and press and media work are also used. The focus is on year-round storytelling.
One of the largest insurers in Germany
With around 9 million customers, R+V Versicherung is one of the largest insurers in Germany. As part of the Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken cooperative financial network, R+V offers its customers customised, innovative insurance solutions. The product range of the R+V companies includes all relevant insurance products for private and corporate customers. In 2023, the R+V Group generated premium income of almost 20 billion euros and employed more than 17,000 people nationwide.
