← Back to IdeasWe’ll show you what’s possible. Ogilvy realigns the Schwäbisch Hall campaign.
Frankfurt, 7. Januar 2025 – The German Ogilvy Group is entering its second round with the campaign for Schwäbisch Hall. In the always-on communication for Germany’s largest building society and one of the leading mortgage lenders, the creative company is now clearly focusing on a specific target group and showing what is possible for those who want to modernize their home. Tailored audience spots refer to the current market situation and people’s desire to realize their dream home by modernizing. The multimedia campaign runs throughout the year on TV, streaming services, social media and display ads and is used at various touchpoints in the B2B sector.
Home ownership remains the dream of many people. However, the entire real estate market has changed significantly in recent years: The boom in newly built properties has been almost replaced by interest in existing properties. Although purchase costs have fallen, there isn’t much of a difference due to higher interest and modernization costs. In general, many homeowners are expecting to modernize their properties – energy-related refurbishments in particular are in high demand. Schwäbisch Hall provides support here with its advisory expertise and suitable financing solutions.
“Our campaign is designed to address the target group very directly and encourage them to modernize,” explains Simon Oppmann, Creative Director at Ogilvy. “We understand the challenges of this project. We are addressing those who are modernizing now – and also those who want to take this step in the future and are already thinking about a financing concept,” Oppmann continues.
The campaign shows couples, families and singles who are modernizing and arriving at their most important place in the world with plenty of drive, passion and a hands-on mentality – and with the right financing partner at their side.
No matter what the specific path looks like: Schwäbisch Hall is aware that it takes strength and a great deal of courage to realize this dream. The campaign’s message is fitting: “Let’s get started. We’ll show you what’s possible. With advice from the home experts.” The campaign specifically addresses the target group and positions Schwäbisch Hall as a competent partner at its customers’ side.
Sabrina Sturm from the B2C Content & Creation team at Schwäbisch Hall says: “There are so many different reasons for modernization and this audience must be considered individually. We know people’s differing needs and challenges and want our campaign to encourage them to get started and tackle their very own project.”
Lea Teinert, also from the B2C Content & Creation team at Schwäbisch Hall, adds: “We continue to make no empty promises. Modernizers in particular know exactly what challenges they are facing and are often already very familiar with the subject matter. That’s why we say honestly and confidently: ‘We’ll show you what’s possible,’ thereby signaling that we are a strong and honest partner.”
The 20- and 10-second communication spots can be seen on TV and online, including on YouTube and other social media, until around the end of 2025.
