Ogilvy Paris est heureuse d'annoncer le lancement de la 4ème édition de son concours Hors Circuit, en partenariat avec Mediawan, Instagram, Society, Les Déterminés et Hogarth.
Despite numerous efforts and initiatives, the communications sector in France still suffers from an imbalance in the social representation of those who comprise it. That’s why, in 2021, the employees of Ogilvy Paris, via its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee, imagined Hors Circuit : a springboard for the emergence and support of talented artists who lack the resource to get their foot in the door of the advertising industry. Talented artists without the support of an agent, an agency or a network. Last year, content creator Djenaba Diame won the 3rd edition of the competition, and Ogilvy Paris has been supporting her ever since in the development of « Déclic », a social media site promoting talented women from all walks of life.
This year, the contest aims to emphasize the need for light-heartedness in a particularly anxiety-induced climate. It’s all about humour and comedy! And we know there’s no shortage of it among our target audience. The competition is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 35, living in France and planning to make a short film or humorous miniseries. To enter, all you have to do is send a mock-up of your project, filmed on a smartphone, to the Hors Circuit website before November 29, 2024. The winner will be supported by Ogilvy Paris and its partners in the professional production of his/her short film or miniseries.

THE JURY
Ogilvy Paris has brought together 10 profiles from a variety of backgrounds: artists, communications or production experts and committed entrepreneurs. All share the Hors Circuit values of equal opportunity, boundless creativity and diversity.
WHAT IS HORS CIRCUIT ?
Hors Circuit is an initiative dreamed up by the employees of Ogilvy Paris via its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee. Launched in September 2021, the first edition of the Hors Circuit competition revealed illustrator Mélanie Gilloury (@studio.fulmine), in 2022 director Eugène Bolengu won the second edition and content creator Djenaba Diame was the winner of the third edition in 2023.
FOR WHOM ?
Hors Circuit is a free competition aimed at young artists without privilege: those who can’t afford to study at a recognized school, those who don’t necessarily have a network, but who have talent. This year, the competition is open to young writers, directors between the ages of 18 and 35 residing in France.

The competition is open from October 15 to midnight November 29, 2024.

THE COMMITMENT
The winner will be able to benefit from all the expertise of an agency like Ogilvy and its network, as well as material and financial support to carry out their personal project. It is hand in hand, and with the desire for true collaboration, that this competition takes on its full meaning.
