Following a competitive pitch involving four agencies, Butagaz, a multi-energy supplier committed to local energy transition, has entrusted the deployment of its marketing, communication, and customer experience strategy to Ogilvy One.
Butagaz selected Ogilvy One to manage its B2C, B2B, and B2B2C operational marketing, including digital, customer relationship marketing and communication, as well as corporate communication, including sports sponsorship. The Ogilvy Paris division will support Butagaz across all its target audiences, from direct buyers to resellers, in its liquefied gas and wood pellet activities, as well as its eco-energy service offerings (solar power, heating, air conditioning) for individuals. Ogilvy One will bring its proprietary "relational design" approach to Butagaz, combining the agency's creative strength with cutting-edge technology and generative AI, along with a deep understanding of audiences and customer journeys to create personalized and engaging experiences.
"The energy market is rapidly evolving, and Butagaz's marketing and communication needs are shifting accordingly. This means we need to be more agile and effective in our approach, with sharper analysis of our market segments, in order to grow and retain our customer base. In this context, we were impressed by the approach proposed by Ogilvy One, especially their detailed focus on personas and customer journeys, as well as their innovative solutions for implementing our initiatives. We are counting on the Ogilvy One team to bring fresh momentum to Butagaz as we face new challenges," said Benoît Bichet, Head of Marketing at Butagaz.
Julia de Sainte Marie, Managing Partner of Ogilvy One, added : "We are proud of the trust Butagaz has placed in us. This win confirms the relevance of our Ogilvy One approach and our ability to support brands in their business transformation. We are excited to work with the Butagaz team and to put our creativity and expertise at the service of their ambitions."
The first initiatives from this collaboration are expected to launch in April 2025.
