NEW YORK— JUNE 12, 2024 — Ogilvy's creative excellence in health and wellness communications was celebrated at the 2024 Clio Health Awards, where the network garnered an impressive total of 25 awards, including 6 Grand, 5 Gold, 3 Silver, 6 Bronze, and 5 Shortlists. In addition to these awards, Ogilvy was named a finalist for Network of the Year, and Ogilvy PR was recognized as a finalist for Agency of the Year.
Ogilvy’s Global Chief Creative Officer Liz Taylor and Ogilvy Health’s Chief Creative Officer Renata Maia, said in a joint statement: “We are incredibly honored and proud of the recognition we received at the Clio Health Awards. These accolades are a testament to our unwavering commitment to creativity and innovation as we aim to make a transformative impact on the world’s well-being. It also demonstrates the impact that Ogilvy creates by working at the intersection of our worldclass talent and capabilities around the world. We are grateful to our clients who inspire us to continue pushing boundaries to produce work that not only garners acclaim, but drives business results and positive change in the world.”
“Michael CeraVe” for CeraVe created by WPP Onefluence led by Ogilvy PR earned 5 Grand Clios in the categories of Creative Effectiveness – National, Film – 61 seconds to Five Minutes, Integrated, Partnerships & Collaborations and Public Relations – Brand Development. The first-of-its-kind immersive campaign invited everyone to participate in a memorable prank-like experience, only to be debunked on America’s biggest stage – the Super Bowl – by CeraVe’s dermatologists. The three-week influencer-led campaign took people on a journey from “CeraVe, developed by Michael Cera” to the truth: “CeraVe, developed with dermatologists.” The campaign also earned three Golds in the categories of Public Relations – Use of Talent/Influencers, Social Media – Multiplatform, and Social Media – Use of Talent/Influencers. The campaign’s success helped CeraVe earn the coveted Advertiser of the Year distinction.
Ogilvy also earned another Grand Clio in the Film – 61 seconds to Five Minutes category for Dove’s “Cost of Beauty,” created as a borderless collaboration between Ogilvy UK and Ogilvy Toronto. As part of Dove’s Self-Esteem Project, the campaign addresses the harmful impacts on kids viewing toxic beauty content on social media. The campaign also brought in a Gold in Social Media – Social Video and two Silver for Branded Entertainment & Content – Social Media and Film Craft – Casting/Performance.
Additionally, six other Ogilvy campaigns were recognized including “Throwaway Comments: Lifelong Hurt” by Ogilvy Health UK for NABS; “Injectable Billboard” for Dove by Ogilvy Toronto and DAVID Miami; “UWC: Trapped by Uncertainty” for Boehringer Ingelheim by Ogilvy Health in partnership with Area23; “Engage Responsibly - Theo's Story” by Ogilvy for the ANA; and “Escape the Loop” by Ogilvy Copenhagen in partnership with Grey for The International OCD Foundation.
These accolades come on the heels of Ogilvy being named the 2024 Network of the Year at the Clio Awards last month, earning Network of the Year by the D&AD Awards and being ranked #1 on both WARC Creative 100 and Effective 100. Earlier this year, Ogilvy was also named Global Network of the Year by AdAge and named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list.
