We are proud to have earned top honors at the 2022 Effie Awards Greater China, with Ogilvy named Most Effective Agency Network of the Year for the 4th time in the last 6 years, and Ogilvy Shanghai’s “Crazy Thursdays” campaign for KFC taking the prestigious Grand Effie. Ogilvy Beijing was also recognized Most Effective Agency of the Year, with Ogilvy Shanghai following closely in 2nd place.
Recognized globally as one of the most highly coveted honors in the industry, the Effie Awards Greater China celebrate outstanding creative work based on marketing effectiveness. Accumulated points in the main awards competition and the Automotive Marketing Effies (a separate awards track that recognizes excellence automotive marketing), contributed to Ogilvy winning the coveted Most Effective Agency Network of the Year accolade.
GRAND PRIX
Lauded by the jury for its “new way to touch and engage current TA emotionally in a very trendy way, allowing consumers to play”, KFC’s “Crazy Thursdays” campaign, produced by Ogilvy Shanghai, successfully turned a popular weekly flash promotion into an engine for long-lasting business growth by engaging fried chicken lovers on social media in highly-interactive ways.
Overall, Ogilvy teams across Beijing, Shanghai and Taipei took home 1 Grand Effie, 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 11 Bronze trophies. Following is Ogilvy's full awards list:
