← Back to IdeasJeremy Daly Nomination
Jeremy Daly is returning to the network where he launched his career, but this time in a much more senior role, as he rejoins Ogilvy Canada as its chief strategy officer.
Daly began his career at Ogilvy Toronto more than two decades ago, and has since filled increasingly senior strategic posts at agencies including Havas, Wieden + Kennedy, Mekanism, Droga5 and DDB, out of offices in both New York and San Francisco. He has led work for financial consultancy Charles Schwab’s “Talk to Chuck” campaign; Dos Equis’ “Most Interesting Man”; Heineken’s “Man of the World”; and Delta’s “Keep Climbing,” among others.
With his return to Ogilvy, Daly will be tasked with leading the strategy department and working on clients across the network’s Canadian offices that include Mondelez, TD Bank, Unilever, Hellmann’s, Absolut and Kimberly-Clark.
“Jeremy understands how to build and grow brands through creative ideas,” says Marie-Lise Campeau, president of Ogilvy Canada, adding that his “experience with some of the world’s most recognizable brands will only further strengthen the team we have been building.”
“Creativity founded on deep strategy is what allows us to unlock unreasonable impact for our clients’ brands and businesses,” adds Anibal Casso, chief strategic officer for Ogilvy North America. “[Jeremy’s] deep understanding of brands, culture and consumer behaviour will be an incredible asset to our people and our clients alike.”
Daly rejoins the network at a time when it is riding a wave of strong momentum, having launched successful work for TD Bank during the Super Bowl, as well as some key campaigns for Absolut and Dove. The broader Ogilvy network has garnered considerable recent success across multiple award shows, having been named Network of the Year at both the Clio Awards and the One Show, as well as Global Network of the Year by Campaign.
