Fast-paced entertainment that’s easily accessible has left people watching more and reading less. To get Singaporeans to fall in love with reading again, The National Library Board (NLB) has partnered with Japanese lifestyle company MUJI to launch the “Wall of Haikus”.
The campaign used intricately designed tags combined with clever, short-form summaries disguised as haikus to create intrigue for brilliant stories that people could dive deeper into. These haiku tags, displayed at Muji, not only acted as a brilliant wall decor, they are also mini keepsakes that reminded people to start reading more.
