16% of the world suffers from a disability. While there are support programmes, most people still don’t understand the challenges they face. As sponsors of the Women’s World Championship, HSBC created a way to use golf to share about disabilities and break the indifference.
Clubs with Disabilities is the world’s first set of golf clubs designed to simulate the feeling of playing with physical impairments. Working with a team of experts, each golf club was modified to represent limitations that persons with disabilities may experience when golfing, raising awareness for the cause while creating empathy among able-bodied individuals at the tournament.
