HAVE YOU EVER IMAGINED TAKING ON A GRIZZLY BEAR WITH YOUR BARE HANDS ?
Probably not. Yet a survey shows that 7% of men think they could win a fist fight with a grizzly bear.
Ogilvy Paris unveils "Stay humble", its new campaign for Atlantic, a brand specialising in energy renovation and thermal comfort, which relies on the expertise of professional installers. Inspired by surveys often relayed on social networks, the campaign takes a humorous look at the unfortunate tendency for people to overestimate their abilities, whether it's taking on a predator, climbing Mount Everest or carrying out work without the required experience and training.
Directed by Wilfrid Brimo (La Pac), the two films that make up the campaign illustrate these surveys in the style of a documentary, humorously highlighting our lack of humility.
A parallel is then drawn with the world of energy renovation, where we learn that one person in two prefers to do it alone rather than call in a professional. This is a risky bet when it comes to installing a heat pump or a thermodynamic water heater. That's where Atlantic comes in, with its network of 3,200 installers who are experts in energy renovation.
"With this campaign, we wanted to tackle the very serious subject of energy renovation work in a light-hearted and humorous way to get across an essential message: know your limits and trust the experts.", explains Matthieu Elkaim, Chairman and CCO of Ogilvy Paris. This digital campaign has been running since 24 September.
