Ducros and its spices bring your plates to life
Ducros, the leading brand of herbs and spices that has been working hard for over 60 years, unveils its new brand platform with a campaign designed by Ogilvy Paris. It celebrates the unique power of Ducros herbs and spices to transform an ordinary dish into a tasty, convivial experience.
As its starting point, the campaign asks a familiar question that everyone finds oneself asking several times a day:
“What's for dinner?”
Between the laziness of firing up to cook, the fear of messing up a recipe, defaulting to the ease of pulling out a ready-made dish, or ordering one online, Ducros is here to remind us just how easy it is to enjoy a meal thanks to Ducros products, which have the power to transform a mundane dish into an unforgettable one in the blink of an eye.
“Through this new communication campaign, we want to strengthen the link with our consumers who have grown up with the brand, and invite the younger generation to create a new history with the brand. It was important for us to play with strong brand attributes such as Père Ducros, the nod to Provence and its accent, and the emblematic 'decarcasser', while retaining the creativity, authenticity and playful tone that has characterized the brand for 60 years”, explains Aziza Khalil, Marketing Manager Ducros France.
Ogilvy Paris wanted to capture the very essence of the brand by creating a strong, authentic visual campaign.
“In this campaign, which brings the famous Père Ducros back to life, we wanted to get as close as possible to people, right into their kitchens, to emphasize the essential role of Ducros spices in their daily lives. And who better than the plates themselves to judge the flavor of a dish?” says Julien Bredontiot, Creative Director at Ogilvy Paris.
The message is clear: with Ducros, it's easy to make things at home and please everyone, even the plates.
