Diwali, also known as the festival of lights, is an occasion to come together with family, friends, and the community. After a few years of Diwali celebrations—especially in-person ones—being affected by the realities of the pandemic, Coca-Cola came up with a clever way to encourage people to meet and celebrate face-to-face. In partnership with Ogilvy India, Coca-Cola created a new way for people to gift Coca-Cola to someone for Diwali. The catch? The bottle is locked, and the recipient can only open the Coke bottle if they meet the sender in person.
