Philips is calling attention to cardiovascular health and safety during the Marathon Eindhoven. Too often, an Automatic External Defibrillator is too far away, which can make the difference in saving a life. To visualize the importance of having an AED nearby the neighborhood, Philips designed a shirt, worn by a number of runners, which displayed the distance to the nearest AED (Automated External Defibrillator). The activation was the start of a national campaign geared towards improving health and well-being to a wider audience.
