Macma, the non-profit organization dedicated to support women with breast cancer, has debuted a new interactive exhibition which invites visitors to touch the museum’s works of art with the aim of learning how to recognize the possible symptoms of breast cancer through palpation. In collaboration with DAVID Buenos Aires, “The Art of Self Examination” is inspired by the work of Dr. Liliana Sosa, which identified graphic signs of a possible breast cancer in the models portrayed in three classic pieces by Rembrandt, Rubens and Rafael.
